Visiting Independence Hall

Location

Independence Hall is located on Chestnut Street, betwixt 5th and sixth Streets. Entrance is through a security screening expanse on Chestnut Street, just west of 5th Street. After passing through security, visitors line up backside Independence Hall for a tour. The GPS address for Independence Hall is 520 Chestnut Street.

Hours and Fees

Open up daily 9am to 5pm
Entrance is past bout only. Admission is kickoff-come up, get-go-served in February, except for February xix-21, 2022 when timed entry tickets are required. Timed entry tickets are besides required from March through December. There is a 1.00 per ticket handling fee for reserved tickets.

The security screening area closes xv minutes prior to the building closure time.

Ticketing

No tickets are required in January and February except for winter holidays. Tickets are required on Presidents' Day weekend (Feb 19-21, 2022). Tours

Entrance to Independence Hall is past tour simply.
